We work closely with our partnering hospice agencies to provide patients with the opportunity to live until they die with dignity and compassion.
Our care-giving team consists of highly trained registered nurses, licensed nursing assistants and certified personal care attendants who undergo extensive and ongoing training in the special needs of people who are in the final stages of life. Working together with your chosen hospice agency, our team can help the patient and their family through these passages with dignity and compassion allowing for peace and healing at the final phase of life.
Being a caregiver for a family member can be challenging, lonely and at times, overwhelming. It is easy to forget one's own physical and emotional well being. It is vital for all caregivers to have occasional breaks from the caregiving roll to prevent burnout and exhaustion. Respite care allows the family caregivers time to take care of their own needs and renew their energy. They are then able return to their caregiving role with their physical and emotional energy renewed. Respite care can be provided for a few hours, overnight or for several days depending on the needs of the family and the individual needing care.
