Martha Berk


Martha Berk, RN is the founder and owner of Atlantic Homelife Senior Care, LLC. She has been a registered nurse specializing in geriatrics for close to 30 years. Her goal was to create a company that would allow seniors to stay in their homes and enjoy the home life they always had. She believes seniors should not have to give up the lives they have always known just because they need a helping hand. She is committed to help seniors maintain quality of life and live every moment to the fullest!

Jeffrey Berk

Director of Business Operations

Jeffrey leads the day-to-day business operations at Atlantic Homelife. His responsibilities include new client intake, employee recruitment, human resources, finance and technology integration. Jeffrey transitioned to this position and the health care industry in general in 2012. Before taking on this role, Jeffrey had 25 years’ experience in the Technology industry with positions including engineering, product management and director level marketing. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Northeastern University.

Karen Joslyn

Director of Nursing

Karen has been a registered nurse specializing in geriatrics for close to 26 years. She specializes in dementia and worked close to 10 years as a charge nurse in an in-patient geri-psych hospital. She has spent time as Director of Nursing in several local dementia focused Assisted Living facilities in the New Hampshire seacoast area. She brings to Atlantic Homelife her knowledge of dementia and her passion for Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

Sharon English

Care Coordinator/Scheduler

Sharon has been an LNA for over 22 years. She is in charge of coordinating care and scheduling for her assigned clients. She works to assure good caregiver to client matches at both a clinical and personal level. She also provides one-on-one training for caregivers with unique client needs. She is an avid runner and ran her first marathon last year and has not slowed down since. Her favorite things in the world are her children and Hello Kitty.

Kim Doherty

Care Coordinator/Scheduler

Kim has been in the healthcare industry for 22 years starting as an Army Medic, then an LNA and now is an LPN. She oversees coordinating care and scheduling for her assigned clients. She has experience with geriatric care, in-patient psychiatry and field medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her crafts.

Emily Berk

Finance Assosciate

Emily is responsible for most of the daily Finance responsibilities at Atlantic Homelife including payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable. Emily is a former LNA and will occasionally be seen in the field working with clients too. She spends her free time with her puppy Maddie.

Brandy Mason

Administrative Assistant

Brandy is responsible for all administrative duties at Atlantic Homelife. She has a background as an LNA, specializing in Hospice Care and in Real Estate as an assistant/receptionist. In her free time, she enjoys time with her family, her cat Jazzy and crocheting.

Betty Ann Coach


Betty Ann has been a registered nurse for more than 40 years. She has spent most of her carrier working in geriatrics and hospice settings. She specializes in hospice and is the field nurse here at Atlantic Homelife. In her free time, she writes children’s books, spends time with her family, her dog and her new grandbaby.
